Phoenix is a striking example of our multi-generational breeding, as she is the daughter of two of our originals, Stormie and Gizmo! She is a bold Parti female with a fascinating color heritage. Born with high-contrast black patches, her coat has transitioned through a beautiful “clearing” phase—first fading to a striking silvery-seal and white, before settling into her current sophisticated, smoky-charcoal tone with gorgeous silvery-tan seal undertones peeking through. With her solid black pigment and clear white base, she perfectly showcases the depth possible in the Dominant Black lineage.

While she has grown into a more solid-looking adult, Phoenix remains one of our more daintily built, athletic dogs. When she’s not cozied up high on the back of the sofa (her favorite vantage point!) or snuggled in a lap, she is a bundle of excited energy, always ready to run and play. She is an excellent mom who truly enjoys her time with her litters; even after her puppies are weaned, she loves spending time in the “puppy kindergarten” area, playing with them until the day they head off to their forever families.
