Kirby holds an incredibly special place in our hearts because she is the only offspring we kept from our original girl, Riley, and our handsome boy, Bear (who are both now happily retired!). She is an exquisite Solid Cream female with a soft, angelic appearance. Genetically a “Recessive Red,” her coat remains a clear, uniform light-gold without any black tipping or shading. This rare “clear” coat is paired with striking, jet-black pigment on her nose and eyes, creating a beautiful high-contrast look. As a carrier for both liver and dilute, Kirby is not only a visual beauty but a “genetically complex” female who can produce a rainbow of colors in future generations.

Kirby inherited the most intensely sweet, lovable personality from her parents—she is truly everything you could ever want in a dog: playful, loving, cuddly, and devoted. Even before she was old enough to have litters of her own, she would sneak into the other moms’ puppy spaces, earning her the nickname “Auntie Kirby the puppysitter.” If the pups were tiny babies, she would gently lay beside them to keep watch, and as they grew, she would play with them so softly and carefully. Today, she is a fantastic mom herself, and her fun, playful nature means she absolutely loves hanging out with her own puppies right up until the day they head off to their forever homes!
